Girona City
Girona is one of the cities with the most personality in Catalonia. This has been recognised by some of the world’s most important publications, such as the US travel guide Frommer’s, which included the city of Girona on its list of the Top 10 Places to Visit in 2012. The magazine National Geographic Traveler, in its March 2012 edition, also placed Girona and its Flower Time Festival on a list of worldwide destinations to visit in spring. While, in 2015, Trivago rated Girona as the city with the best online reputation.
How to get here
Girona city, only 65 km from the French border (100 km from Perpignan) and 100 km from Barcelona, is an excellent starting point for celebrating all kind of meetings and conferences. The Girona Conference Centre is located in the city center and it has excellent air, rail and road connections. Easy access for everybody.
RENFE offers a discount of 35% for the members of the congress who travel to CIDUI by AVE train. You have to contact with Technical Secretariat of CIDUI (info@cidui.org) to get the discount.
