Dr. Filip Dochy
Dr. Filip Dochy studied Physical Education Sciences, Educational Psychology and Law at the Universities of Gent and Leuven (Belgium). He received his PhD in Educational Technology. He is currently full professor at the University of Leuven (Belgium) at the Centre for Research on Professional Training & Development and Lifelong learning. He was President of the European Association of Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI – www.earli.org) from 2003 until 2005.
He is the founding Editor of the Educational Research Review (2005-2009) and the Frontline Learning Research, the 3rd official journal of EARLI. He was founder and Chairman of EAPRIL (European Association for Practitioner Research on Improving Learning in Education and Professional Practice – www.eapril.org) from 2009 to 2011. He is member of several editorial boards of scientific journals such as Learning & Instruction, Studies in Higher Education, etc. He is a member of the European Academy of Science.

Dr. Mike Sharples
Dr. Mike Sharples is Professor of Educational Technology in the Institute of Educational Technology at The Open University (United Kingdom). He leads the Minerva project to transform the University’s process of course development. He also has a post as Academic Lead for the FutureLearn Company (www.futurelearn.com). His research involves human-centred design of new technologies and environments for learning. He inaugurated the mLearn conference series and was Founding President of the International Association for Mobile Learning (www.mlearn.org). He is Associate Editor in Chief of IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies.
He is author of over 300 papers in the areas of educational technology, science education, human-centred design of personal technologies, artificial intelligence and cognitive science.

Niels Mejlgaard
Mr. Niels Mejlgaard is Director of the Department of Political Science of the Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy of Aarhus University (Denmark). His activity has been focused on contextualising and measuring research, as well as studying the benefit of responsible and innovative research. He is currently implementing an investigation of open access for HEIRRI project (www.heirri.eu about training in the field of Responsible Research & Innovation (RRI) on higher education institutions..

Jo Peat
Mrs. Jo Peat is Head of Academic Professional Development of the School Education at University of Roehampton. She has worked in education for many years, both in schools and at university. She presently leads on Learning and Teaching in Higher Education at Roehampton and co-ordinates R4NA (Recognition for New Academics, the compulsory certificate for new academics at University of Roehampton). The modules she currently teaches are Distinctive Schools and their Philosophies for undergraduate students and R4NA, as well as working with experienced academics to help them to gain recognition for their expertise and experience in teaching and supporting learning in higher education.
The main areas of interest and research of Jo Peat are how to enhance the student learning experience in higher education; pedagogy and inclusion in higher education; professional development in higher education, internationalisation of higher education and diversity in education, particularly considering the role of the independent sector and the different educational philosophies that flourish here.

Dr. Martí Casadesús Fa
Dr. Casadesús Fa is an industrial engineer (UPC), doctor of Industrial Engineering (UdG) and professor of Business Organization from the Department of Business Management and Product Development at the University of Girona. He is co-director of GREPP (Product, Process and Production Engineering Research Group) and director of GITASP (Research Group in Innovation in Productive Systems), a research group established by the Catalan Regional Government. He is also an international expert on the Technical Committee 176 of ISO (International Standards Organization) dedicated to creating management standards (ISO 9001, ISO 10004, etc.). Among other posts, he was deputy director of the Higher Polytechnic School and vice-rector for Planning and Quality at the University of Girona. He is currently the director of AQU Catalunya.

Dr. Eduardo García Jiménez
Dr. García Jiménez is professor of Educational Evaluation at the University of Seville. His research and professional work has always been related to the assessment of learning, programmes and teaching institutions and he has held high-level posts in this field in the ICE of the University of Seville and at ANECA. Included in the work he carried out as coordinator of innovation at ANECA (2006-2010) was the design of the programme and teacher assessments and the degree accreditation.

Dr. Miguel Ángel Galindo Martín
Director of ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain). He has a PhD in Applied Economics at Complutense University. Since 2002 is Professor of Applied Economics (Political Economic) at University of Castilla-La Mancha, and since 2006 he has been Head of Department (Economic Policy and Public Finance, Statistics and Political Economy) until his appointment as Deputy Director for Evaluations of Programmes and Institutions at ANECA.

Dra. Laura Borràs Castanyer
Laura Borràs Castanyer has a degree in Catalan Philology (1993) and a Cum Laude Doctor in Romance Philology (1997) by University of Barcelona for the thesis “Forms folly in the Middle Ages. Comparative study of literary texts and iconographical representations” (published as an essay at “Més enllà de la raó”, Barcelona, Quaderns Crema, 1999) with European Doctorate diploma (1997) and Extraordinary Prize (1998) by de Human and Social Sciences Division of the University of Barcelona (UB).
Professor of Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature for the UB for the last 22 years, she is professor of the Teacher Training Master of the Language Didactics and Literature Department. In the last 15 years she has combined this teaching with e-learning and blended learning of literature as assistant professor of UOC University at the degrees of Humanities and Philology and at the Studies of Arts and Humanities in the field of Open and Distance Learning (ODL). Since 2007 is Academic Director of the Master on Literature in the digital era of the UB and Grup 62: www.il3.ub.edu/es/master/master-literatura-era-digital.html. In January 2003 she was appointed by the Councillor Culture of the Goverment of Catalonia, Mr. Ferran Mascarell, Director of the Institute Catalan Letters (ILC), where she has promoted the creation of the Internet portal: www.lletrescatalanes.cat (includes translations into English and Spanish languages).
