The proposals of educational innovation are numerous, though in this research article we present a concrete proposal: Service-Learning. The current situation of a strong needs, as it is conducted in this research, a study of the implantation of the Service-Learning throughout the educational Spanish context in the last decade, in order to present the current situation of this methodology attending  principal challenges to be affronted to obtain a real consolidation of his educational potential: the conceptualization; a theoretical foundation in his definition, implantation, diffusion and evaluation; the systematizing in the educational process; and, a few principles of intervention.
