Improving the quality of the Practicum. The use of Moodle and Google Docs in monitoring the Practicum process after the EHEA

This proposal presents a project intending to ensure the quality of a Practicum in the implementation of the EHEA.

How can we manage efficiently the control of students’ assignments, performance and results achieved during the Practicum? By implementing ICT a monitoring protocol is defined based on the competences to be developed during the practices. This enables the smooth interaction between all parties involved. The focus is to make the student keep a detailed report of their activities by integrating Google Docs into Moodle.

We conclude that extending the Practicum to a large number of students is compatible with  keeping the quality standards, thanks to the usage of ICT.
