Cómo incrementar la motivación del alumno y la adquisición de conocimientos de Geología

Here we present the experience in the adaptation of the course “Geology” in the Grade of Mining Engineering to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). New teaching approaches, learning methodologies and student assignments are presented. One of the main approaches was to bring the geological aspects of Nature to students through the use of new technologies and strategies, using individual and group techniques. These new approaches have produced an increase in motivation and acquisition of geological knowledge on the part of students, accompanied by an improvement in grades
