MODELIZACIÓN Y SIMULACIÓN DISCRETA CON LA PLATAFORMA NETLOGO: ¿POR QUÉ CAEN LAS HOJAS EN OTOÑO?

Resum

Agent-based models (ABMs) describe the individuals or parts that make up a system as autonomous and discrete entities, and focus all their attention on the characterization of these parts (agents) by rules of behaviour, allowing the interaction between them and the environment in which they are. This work presents the teaching material designed for an activity centred on the model "Autumn" available at the NetLogo platform (freely accessible from the Web). This activity was performed in computer lab sessions in the degrees of Engineering of Biosystems at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. The results obtained are analysed.
