Resum

To become an autonomous learner it is necessary to owe self-regulatory strategies that help for a correct understanding of the task: establish goals, perform the task maintaining the attention and solving any difficulty that may arise in the process, and assess and judge the final results. One of the key processes for being able to self-regulate is to self-assess to correct mistakes along the task. The use of assessment rubrics, a tool usually given by the teacher to the students, help the pupils to self-assess their learning using the assessment criteria included in the rubric. Through these assessment criteria the rubric has a direct impact in the strategies that the students activate for the task.
