Welcome
From the organization of the International Conference on University Teaching and Innovation we are pleased to announce CIDUI 2020+1 Congress will take place on June 29, 30, July 1 and 2, 2021.
The title of this edition is “Beyond competencies: new challenges in a digital society”. The current university world is witnessing a clear transformation that entails the emergence of new training challenges as a result of the changes that society is experiencing (technological, social, political, cultural, environmental…). Challenges related, among others, to the emergence of new student profiles who demand new teaching and learning models that include emerging professional profiles and the application of new organizational models in higher education.
In this context, we add the impact of the pandemic generated by COVID-19, which has demanded an unprecedented individual and collective reorganization of the entire university community.
This new edition of CIDUI proposes to create a space for the exchange and analysis of studies, experiences and proposals that provide knowledge about the impact of these challenges and the different ways of approaching them from a teaching strategy.
The organization is working intensively on the design of a quality congress with an innovative format, that will ensure at all times to preserve “the essence of CIDUI” and the enriching experience offered by a space like this.
For this reason, the organization is committed to guaranteeing the participation of all those interested in reflection, commitment and the joint construction of new knowledge of teaching innovation in higher education.
IMPORTANT:
The CIDUI 2020 + 1 Congress will be held in virtual format in order to guarantee the defense of the communications by their authors, the participation of all attendees and the celebration of the different sessions and activities planned for this edition.
For this new edition of CIDUI, it has been proposed to address current and future challenges of higher education in relation with the emergence of new student profiles that demand new teaching and organizational strategies.
