Topic
This new edition is entitled “Improving learning experiences: Transformation and challenges”. Universities everywhere are immersed in highly complex environments and change processes that involve transformation of teaching systems. These processes must help to fulfil the primary mission of universities, which is none other than to ensure the quality of students’ learning outcomes.
Students must be at the centre of their learning process, both in individual and collective terms, while teachers must play a key role in guiding learning experiences and competence development throughout the entire education process, without neglecting the opportunities offered by new technologies.
Taking these challenges into account, the Congress will focus its attention on the need to find strategies to promote quality environments that will benefit greater personalisation and transversality in the education process.

Topic 1. Competence profiles and itineraries
- New profiles, skills and ways of learning
- Accompaniment and personalisation of learning
- Transition to university (secondary education, over 25s, mature students…)
- Spaces for participation, collaboration and co-creation.
- Emotional well-being and mental health of students and teachers
Topic 2. Methodologies, strategies and learning spaces
- Experiences inside and outside the university (classrooms, laboratories, project-based learning, service learning, degree and master’s final projects.)
- Pedagogical use of digital technologies and environments
- Collaboration between teachers
- Teacher training programmes and experiences
- Creation of teaching materials
Topic 3. University, transfer and social transformation
- Third mission of the university (continuing training, classes for the elderly, etc.)
- Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals
- Management of diversity, inclusion and equity
- Cooperation between university, industry and the public sector
- Inter-institutional cooperation (universities, faculties, departments, units, etc.)
Per aquesta nova edició del CIDUI, es proposa crear un espai d’intercanvi i d’anàlisi d’estudis, experiències i propostes que aportin coneixement sobre els nous espais i temps d’aprenentatge.
